Charity makes runner appeal

macmillan Cancer Support is calling on runners to help it raise thousands of pounds by taking part in the Edinburgh Half Marathon on April 10.

Fundraising manager for Edinburgh Pamela Williamson said: "Macmillan relies almost entirely on donations to fund our vital cancer services so we are really hoping a lot of local people will take on this run for us.

"Signing up to take on a challenge like this is a fantastic way to motivate yourself to get fit or to stay fit."
