Charity hails awareness

A CHARITY supporting people with Parkinson's said a recent survey showed inroads were being made on raising the profile of the disease.

Ahead of the condition's awareness week, which starts on Monday, Parkinson's UK said in the Lothians almost everyone they asked knew it was a neurological condition and that it did not only affect elderly people.
