Charity given banger boost

A CHARITY which provides home-based respite for carers across Scotland is to reap the rewards from a "bangers and cash" partnership.

Crossroads Caring Scotland has teamed up with Givecare, which collects unwanted vehicles for free and turns the scrap into cash. Proceeds are donated to a charity of the car owner's choice, or one of the Giveacar's partner charities, which now includes Crossroads.
