Charges over OAP’s death

A MAN has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a pensioner.

The body of 74-year-old Rosie Sutherland was discovered by a family member in her sheltered housing bungalow in Longstone Park at around 2pm on Sunday.

Lothian and Borders Police said a 25-year-old man has been arrested. He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.
