Charge after knifing of pregnant woman

A MAN was charged yesterday in relation to a stabbing incident involving a pregnant woman. The 29 year-old victim was treated at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after she staggered, injured, into Cairncry police office on Wednesday night.

Grampian Police said that her condition is described as not "life threatening" and that the 36-year-old is due to appear in Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
