Chain Saw Massacre tops horror poll

The 1970s film Texas Chain Saw Massacre has been declared the greatest horror movie ever. British magazine Total Film canvassed leading horror film directors and stars to find their favourite.

The Exorcist from 1973 was runner-up, with Hitchcock's Psycho, 1960, ranked third.
