Centres offer warm haven

SOME community centres in the Capital will open this weekend to provide a warm place for those who need support during the cold snap.

Staff will be on hand to provide hot drinks, soup and some company for those who need it.

The centres which will be open all weekend from 10am to 4pm are Royston Wardieburn, Craigentinny and Leith.

Northfield, Rannoch, Westburn, St Brides and Southside centres will be open today only.
