Cell death a heart attack

A PRISONER who passed away while being held on remand at Saughton Prison died from a heart attack, a fatal accident inquiry has ruled.

Bernard Graham passed away between 11pm on November 9 and 8.25am on November 10.

The fatal accident inquiry ruled that there were "no reasonable precautions whereby the death might have been avoided".

The inquiry also found that there were no illegal drugs in the 51-year-old's system.
