CCTV hope in assault case

DETECTIVES investigating a serious sexual assault on a woman while she was on an night-out in Edinburgh today released a CCTV image of man they are trying to trace.

Officers believe the man may be able to assist them with their inquiries into the attack on a 23-year-old woman in the early hours of Sunday, May 23.

The man had been in the Espionage nightclub on Victoria Street on the same night the victim was in the venue.

He is described as being black, 5ft 6ins to 5ft 8ins tall, slim build, and wearing slim rectangular Armani-style glasses. On the night of the incident, he wearing a purple shirt, blue jeans and purple shoes.
