CCTV bid to find man who shocked woman at Meadows

Police have released CCTV photos after a man approached a woman and made comments “which gave her cause for alarm”.

The incident happened around 11am on Monday 27th July in Middle Meadow Walk, and was said to have left the victim shocked.

Officers are now keen to trace the man in the CCTV images to assist with their ongoing enquiries.

He is described as white, approximately 20 years old, slim build, clean-shaven, with blonde hair. He was wearing a quilted dark hooded jacket and grey tracksuit bottoms. He had a foreign, possibly Eastern European accent.

Detective Constable Sam Johnson said: “This incident has left the victim shocked.”

“We are keen to trace the male in the footage as part of our investigation and would ask anyone who recognises him to contact police immediately.”
