Catalonia votes down bull bans

REGIONAL MPs who banned bullfighting in Spain's Catalonia region have voted against banning other traditions involving the animals.

Yesterday's vote protects traditions in Catalonia such as attaching poles with flaming wax or fireworks to bulls' horns, or letting the beasts chase human daredevils by seaside marinas and plunge into the water.
