Castle bosses offer dream wedding prize for couples

HOTEL bosses at Dalhousie Castle are offering couples the chance to win a wedding worth £5000 by sending their personal tales of romance into a competition.

Judges will choose the most romantic love story submitted by the couples at a prize-giving ceremony at the hotel, located near Bonnyrigg in Midlothian, tomorrow.

Organisers said the contest was aimed at giving "hard-up local couples" a chance to win a "royal wedding".

Alison Mathewson, general manager of Dalhousie Castle, said: "We are delighted to be able to make a local couples' dream a reality. Dalhousie Castle has always been one of the most popular venues in Scotland for a luxury wedding and to be able to give something as special as a wedding back to the community means a lot."
