Cash pot to help forest

Environmental charity Central Scotland Forest Trust (CSFT) has awarded more than £18,000 to local volunteering projects for programmes supporting volunteering activity in the Central Scotland Forest.

Dedridge Environment Ecology Project (DEEP) and Almond Valley Heritage Trust in West Lothian (AVHT) are two of the projects benefiting from an award of up to £7500.

CSFT launched the Community Volunteer Fund to enable organisations to improve their local environment and increase opportunities for volunteering.
