Cash boost for entrepreneurs

Young entrepreneurs are to benefit from a fundraising effort organised by West Lothian Chamber of Commerce.

A cheque for 2000 was presented to the Prince's Scottish Youth Business Trust (PSYBT) to be used to support new business formation by young people in West Lothian.

Chamber members raised the money through a prize draw at the Business Excellence Awards. Dave McDougall, chief executive of the chamber, presented the cheque to Malcolm Evans, West Lothian's PSYBT regional manager.
