Cash bag snatched from chip shop van

A BAG containing a four-figure sum of cash was snatched from a fish and chip shop owner's van yesterday.

The owner of Croft Fish and Chip Shop, Castlemilk Road, Glasgow, was in his van around midday when his path was blocked by a people carrier. A man approached the passenger side of the van, smashed the window, grabbed the bag and made off.
