Car smoke ban backed

MOST parents in Edinburgh want to see smoking in cars banned while children are present.

A survey of more than 1,000 people found that 87 per cent were in favour of extending the smoking ban to vehicles under those circumstances. About half of those questioned were either smokers or former smokers.
