Car set on fire deliberately

POLICE are hunting for a fireraiser who set a car ablaze after pouring an accelerant inside the vehicle.

Firefighters were called to Dalum Loan in Loanhead where the Vauxhall Vectra was alight outside a home.

Investigators established that an accelerant had been used in the fire.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw suspicious activity in the street between 9pm on Sunday and 2:40am on Monday to contact them.
