Car park at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary to close

A CAR park at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary is to close for up to six weeks while work begins on the new Sick Kids hospital.

Spaces closest to the maternity unit – known as car park A – will be shut off with diversions put in place.

An empty car park will be opened, meaning the number of spaces will remain the same.

George Curley, director of operations in facilities at NHS Lothian, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience.”
