Car maker for Lothians drive

BOSSES at luxury car firm Bentley have chosen East Lothian for the launch of their new £220,000 vehicle.

Sheena Richardson, East Lothian's provost, said she was "absolutely delighted" Bentley had chosen the area to launch the new Mulsanne.

Bentley said it chose the area because of its "top-class driving roads with excellent scenery".

Ms Richardson said: "We are absolutely delighted that Bentley has chosen East Lothian."

She said the county offered "spectacular views" of the coastline, Lammermuir Hillls and "world-renowned" golf courses.
