Car club eyes city driveways

Spaces in the city centre are so hard to find a new car club has resorted to having its members shell out between 60 and 100 a month to rent other people's drives and permit spaces.

Streetcar – which has clubs around the world – launches this week with ten cars spread around the city.

But thanks to the popularity of the City Car Club, which has the backing of the city council, the new firm has had to find spaces off-road.
