Capital student to tackle marathon for Sick Kids

A STUDENT from the capital is to run the Edinburgh Marathon to raise money for the Sick Kids Friends Foundation.

India Dodgson, 23, a volunteer with the charity, will run the 26-mile event in May — her first attempt at the race. The Heriot-Watt student said: “I volunteer at the Drop-In Centre on Thursday evenings and I love it — we have lots of fun.

“It is a great place for the parents and family members of children to come and relax. The staff and other volunteers are brilliant.”

Anyone interested in joining India in the race should contact Rachel McKenzie at [email protected].
