Capital restaurants on menu for Scottish Curry awards

FOUR Capital curry houses and a local independent chef have made the shortlist of this year's Scottish Curry Awards.

Eastern Spices, which recently relocated to Howard Street, has been nominated for takeaway of the year for the second year.

Britannia Spice, owned by Wali Uddin, has been nominated for chef of the year.

The nomination for restaurant of the year has gone to Dalry Road eatery Kebabish Original.

Amani, on Bernard Street, has been nominated for team of the year. Meanwhile, chef Ian McAllister has been nominated for curry lover of the year.
