Capital restaurant wins award

AN Indian restaurant from the Capital is celebrating after a successful night at the Scottish Curry Awards.

Suruchi, based in Nicolson Street, was named Restaurant of the Year in the South-East region during the ceremony in Glasgow earlier this week.

More than 600 guests attended the event, which was hosted by TV presenter Sharon Prasad, and featured entertainment from cheerleaders the Scottish Rockettes.
