Capital is in the frame as royal honeymoon location

EDINBURGH could be in the running as a honeymoon destination for Prince William and Kate Middleton if the bookmakers are to be believed.

As the couple have not yet announced where they will holiday, all bets are on.

Bookmaker Paddy Power is offering odds of 11/4 that the newly-weds will return to Kenya, where William proposed, for their honeymoon. But Scotland is priced at 7/2 as the couple both famously studied at St Andrews where they first met.

The exclusive private Caribbean island of Mustique is at 6/1, with Prince Philip's native Greece ranked an outside chance at 80/1.

Other big questions around the April 29 ceremony remain to be confirmed including William's choice of best man - or "supporter" as it is known in royal circles.

The job is widely expected to go to his brother, Prince Harry who is said to be organising the stag do and has reportedly lined up US hip-hop star Snoop Dogg to perform.
