Capital food waste recycling starts
A NEW food waste recycling service is due to start in Edinburgh this week.
About 20,000 properties across the city will benefit from the trial scheme which will see food waste picked up once a week.
In the capital, households throw out on average between 450 and 550 in food waste per year.
