Capital crime to be tackled

A MULTI-PRONGED approach to tackle doorstep crime is being run in the Capital this summer.

Police have been deployed throughout the city to target bogus workman while representatives from the city council, Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA), Trading Standards and Department of Work and Pensions Fraud Agency (DWP) are monitoring other areas.

Twenty vehicles suspected of being involved in bogus activity were stopped by all agencies.
