Capital band the lizard kings

A BAND called Were Not Iguanas has won in the audition stage of a nationwide talent competition.

The Edinburgh-based group beat off hundreds of competitors to secure a place on stage at the Live and Unsigned 2010 show at Glasgow Concert Hall on 13 March.

In front of a live audience and professional judging panel, they will try and win a spot at the competition finals at the 02 in London.

The final winners will pick up a recording contract and investment of up to 30,000.
