Capital band are on song

A BAND from Edinburgh have made the shortlist for a national alternative music awards competition.

Bwani Junction are vying for the title of best newcomers in the Scottish Alternative Music Awards 2012.

The Queensferry indie band, who filmed a cheeky first video that saw them break on to the Forth Bridge and paint it blue, are up against rivals including Athos, Davey Horne, Forest Fires, Oskar Empire and Vukovi for the award, sponsored by the Glasgow music venue The Cathouse.
