Cannabis seized

Drugs worth £280,000 have been seized and a man arrested following a raid, police said.

A crop of cannabis plants were recovered in the raid on a house in Hamilton, Lanarkshire, on Saturday by Strathclyde Police.

Officers also arrested a 42-year-old man in connection with the raid. A report will be sent to the procurator-fiscal and the man is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court today.
