Cannabis raid appeal

POLICE have launched an appeal after raiding a cannabis farm in Bruntsfield but failing to round up the suspected growers.

Officers swooped on the flat in Barclay Place on Monday, finding cannabis and an operational cultivation rig.

Neighbours reported seeing growing equipment being removed by police. Neither the value of the drugs nor the equipment has been disclosed.

A police spokesman said: "Inquiries are ongoing to trace the occupants. Anyone with information that can assist with our investigation is asked to contact police immediately."
