Cancer care vote winner

MORE than two thirds of Lothians lung cancer patients are pleased with the treatment they were given.

Health chiefs at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre received 173 responses from a survey, receiving 66 per cent satisfaction rate.

Clinical nurse specialist Diana Borthwick said: "The researchers were delighted to find that the vast majority of patients felt their experiences around the time of diagnosis, meeting the oncologist and having treatment, were very positive."
