Cameron snaps back at Balls

DAVID Cameron appeared to lose his cool during Prime Minister's Questions yesterday, under constant barracking from shadow chancellor Ed Balls.

Late on in the session, Mr Cameron was trying to answer a question from Stoke MP Joan Walley when he snapped: "I wish the shadow chancellor would occasionally shut up and listen to the answer."

Labour leader Ed Miliband shouted at the Prime Minister to calm down, while Mr Balls offered him a glass of water.

Watched by comedian Steve Coogan, a guest at PMQs, Mr Cameron then called Mr Balls "the most annoying person in modern politics".
