Call to help organise fair

VOLUNTEERS are sought to help the Friends of Montgomery Street Park organise their summer fair.

The group is looking for help setting up and taking down stalls, contributors for the open mic poetry stage, donations for tombolas, and helpers for children's events, entertainment and competitions.

Stalls will also be available for hire in the mini market area.

The fair will take place in the park, between Leith Walk and Easter Road, on August 28.

Funds raised by the event will go towards the Friends' efforts to renovate the park, providing new play equipment, a ball court and raised beds.
