Call for tough tobacco laws
BOTH smokers and non- smokers in Edinburgh want tougher tobacco laws, a city charity has said.
ASH Scotland welcomed a report showing an overwhelming majority of people wanted legislation to protect the health of youngsters and other members of the public.
Chief executive Sheila Duffy said: "These results show the high support that smokers and non-smokers in Scotland have for continuing action against the harm caused by smoking.
"Both smokers and non-smokers alike would like to see changes in Scotland. It is clear that respondents are concerned about preventing young people taking up smoking."
