Call for schools to have defibrillators

AN URGENT call has been made for life-saving defibrillators to be available in all UK schools.

An estimated 270 sudden heart attack deaths occur in schools every year, according to the charity Sads UK. But only about 80 out of more than 30,000 schools have access to an automated external defibrillator.
