Call for national team to rule the waves

AN MSP has called on the government to help Scotland create a national surfing team.

Highlands and Islands MSP Rob Gibson has backed a campaign by the Scottish Surfing Federation for Scotland to have an individual team. The International Surfing Association recognises only a UK team, even though it recognises teams from the United States and Hawaii.
