Businesses get support

MORE than 200 medium-to-high-growth businesses have been given support by the city council in three months.

Between April and the end of July, 215 fast-growing companies were helped by Business Gateway.

In the same period, 1253 inquiries from new-start businesses and 263 inquiries from existing firms were processed, while Business Gateway also helped 770 new entrepreneurs to begin trading, which was 17 per cent higher than the same period last year.
