'Busiest day' for holiday bookings

TODAY is expected to be the busiest day of the year for holiday flight bookings, according to Visa Europe. It said the start of the second week in January was traditionally the boom time.

On Tuesday, 12 January, last year there were more than 83,000 holiday flight bookings made using Visa cards.
