Buses on late for Festival

BUS firm Scottish Citylink is set to introduce later services for people travelling to shows at the Festival.

The company said it would extend its 1.30am and 3am services between Edinburgh and Glasgow, which normally operate on weekends throughout the year, to run every day from Friday July 29 to Sunday September 4.

Aiden Proctor, commercial manager at Scottish Citylink, said: "Summer is one of our busiest times, with people up and down the country travelling to the Edinburgh International Festival and Edinburgh Festival Fringe. We are keen to make sure people have the opportunity to enjoy the shows they want without limitations."
