Bus crash sparks traffic woes

A crash involving a bus has caused traffic problems in the West of the Capital.

The incident involved a car and bus at the junction of Shandon Place and Slateford Road and happened at 10.25am this morning.

No injuries have been reported.

Traffic in the area had been affected with long delays on all approaches.

However the road has since reopened but Lothian Buses service 38 is no longer serving Henderson Place or Ashley Terrace and instead has been diverted via Slateford Road, Craiglockhart Avenue and Colinton Road.
