Burry Man parade gets started in South Queensferry
Flanked by assistants Andrew Findlater and Duncan Thompson, Andrew Taylor plods through seven miles through the streets of South Queensferry covered in 11,000 thistle burrs.
Andrew spent nearly nine hours in his hot and prickly suit as part of the ancient, annual Burry Man parade.
Thought to ward off evil spirits, the Burry Man is also a symbol of rebirth, regeneration and fertility.
