Bumper weekend ahead for skiers

EVERY ski run in Scotland is set to be open this weekend - for the first time in 15 years.

In a boost for tourism, VisitScotland said every 1 being spent on the slopes equated to 4 being spent off the slopes.

Mike Cantlay, chairman of the national tourism organisation, said: "I'm sure that everyone from absolute beginners to experienced skiers will be hitting the slopes."
