Britons jailed for child abuse

TWO Britons were starting lengthy jail sentences today after they were convicted of abusing children at the orphanage in Albania founded by Edinburgh charity worker David Brown.

Brown, 58, of Edinburgh was jailed for 20 years in November 2008 for sexually abusing children at the home in Tirana.

Now judges in Tirana have also jailed social therapy nurse Dino Christodoulou, 45, from Blackburn, Lancashire, for 20 years and Robin Arnold, 56, a salesman from Cromer, Norfolk, for 15 years and six months.
