British girl, 4, killed on Florida holiday

A FOUR-YEAR-OLD British girl was killed when she was hit by a car on a Florida beach yesterday afternoon.

The child – named as Ellie Bland from Nottingham – was holidaying with her family on Daytona Beach when the incident happened. Florida Highway Patrol said it was investigating.
