Brewery in stay pledge

BELHAVEN bosses have assured workers there are no plans to move its Dunbar operation, despite announcing a major reorganisation of the historic firm.

Parent firm Greene King, which bought Belhaven in 2005, plans to consolidate into a new brewing and brands division to accelerate expansion.

Belhaven brewery director Euan Venters, who becomes boss of the new business arm, assured workers: "All operations will continue in Dunbar and for all our customers it will remain very much business as usual."
