Breast cancer charity seeks volunteers

CHARITY Breast Cancer Care Scotland is looking to recruit volunteers to provide new services in and around Edinburgh.

The charity provides a range of free breast cancer support and information services across Scotland, and is set to start a new HeadStrong hair loss service in Livingston this summer.

The charity is looking for volunteers to show women and men how to use headscarves, hats and hairpieces to help reduce the impact of hair loss.

There are also a number of fundraising opportunities, ranging from organising local events to giving talks to companies about the need for their support.

Joanne Stewart, volunteer manager at Breast Cancer Care Scotland, said: "Volunteers have always been at the heart of our organisation and we rely on them to help us keep our services free and accessible to anyone affected by breast cancer.
