Brave woman, 85, hurt in bag-snatch

A WOMAN aged 85 was injured when she tried to fight off a robber in Glasgow.

She was making her way home along Hartstone Road in Priesthill at 9:25pm on Saturday when a man tried to grab her handbag. She refused to let go until she was pushed to the ground. She was treated for arm and head injuries at the Southern General Hospital.
