Boys charged over missiles

TWO teenage boys have been arrested and charged in connection with alleged missile attacks on a bus and a train.

The pair, aged 13 and 14, were charged with reckless conduct and will be reported to the Children’s Reporter.

After a bottle was allegedly thrown at a bus in Milton Road East on August 25, a moving train was then allegedly struck with a stone at Brunstane Station. Lothian and Borders Police and British Transport Police carried out a joint investigation into the incidents.
