Boy hurt in 25ft roof fall

A BOY was rushed to hospital after falling through the roof of a Lothians garage.

The 12-year-old fell 25 feet through the corrugated roof of Ace Exhaust and Tyres on Livery Street in Bathgate.

He had to be taken to the Sick Kids Hospital with a suspected broken wrist, as well as head and leg injuries.

Two other male youths were also on the garage roof at the time that the accident happened, shortly after 9:30pm on Saturday, but both of them escaped injury.

Police, fire and ambulance crews all attended the incident.
