Boy dies after choking at school

A FIVE-year-old boy has died after choking on a grape at an after school club.

The child had been playing at the Bettridge Centre in Newtonhill, Aberdeenshire just before the incident.

He was taken to the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital but declared dead soon after.

A Grampian Police spokesman said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the boy’s death.
